Windows Phone 8

Yesterday on 20 June 2012 at San Francisco’s press event, Microsoft gives mobile developers a sneak preview at its new Windows software for smartphones. Recently Microsoft beefed up its push to regain market share in the precious mobile computing market that dominated by Apple and Google Android.
Named as Windows Phone 8 similar to its next-generation operating system for personal computers Windows 8, it will have key features like Windows 8 operating system that provide stages on which popular devices can play together. Windows Phone 8 is based on the same technologies that power Windows, the most successful and powerful operating system ever that used by more than a billion people ranging from offices to personal home usage.
Windows Phone program manager Joe Belfiore refers this breath breaking Windows Phone 8 software as the most advanced mobile OS Microsoft has ever made. He also said that Windows Phone 8 OS’ release date will be fall on this autumn this year. It is expected Windows Phone will made its debut with Microsoft own tablet PC Surface that expected release date will be autumn this year.
Windows Phone 8 and personal laptops, desktops and tablet PC will share common networking, security, media, web browser technology and common file system. Microsoft introduced its first tablet PC, the Surface on Monday in a clear stance to take on long term rival Apple’s market ruling iPads and Google’s Android. CEO Steve Ballmer described the Surface as a tablet that “works and plays” – a design with built-in stand and ultra thin covers-cum-keyboards in a range of colors.
